TABATA – The workout regime
Tabata the resurfaced quick fix workout is the current rage in the fitness industry. This workout was created by Dr. Izumi Tabata in Tokyo. Amazing technique is very good for conditioning and reduces body fat levels and it’s a effective way to strip fat from the body. This brief workout increases calorie utilization through the day and causes you to boosts the fat burning rate for many hours after the workout. The objective is to be able to do a lot of work over a continuous period of time with minimum rest.
It starts with a warm up and 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest period, repeated without pause 8 times for a total of four minutes. You can even make your workout last for 4-7 minutes and see huge benefits in terms of health and weight loss. The 10-second rest periods are important both physically and mentally they allow fractional recovery and also provide psychological relief.
This demanding workout can be aimed at just cardio or a combination or cardio and strength. One has to be in good condition to perform this workout. Get creative and chose any form of cardiovascular exercise or compound exercise that uses a large number of muscles at a go to reap the benefits. And remember to cool down and stretch and hydrate.
