Hero Parties! A Wonderful Motherhood Experience!

At home we have frequent "hero parties!"  These are rendered to children who have been the hero of the day!  They could be because they overcame a fear, an obstacle, because they did something kind without being told, because they accomplished something they had a goal to do.  The possibilities are numerous!  The kids love to be praised and acknowledged!  Especially to feel loved!  I believe that if we love somebody and we don't say it, it is as if we do not love them! A good piece of motherhood advice would be to say always that you love your children!  Showing love is a way to show appreciation.  A child that is appreciated is someone who irradiates love!  I can see the way their eyes glimmer when we sing them the hero song and cheerfully clap for their accomplishments.  As children, we all are in need of these things in our lives!  When love is present we live harmonious lives.  When we feel appreciated we do better in our daily tasks.  When we are recognized for our efforts we want to try harder.

Life brings challenges and we often see ourselves frustrated by such.  When these trials arrive, if we see them through the eyes of a child things look a lot brighter, and we get hope and through having this hope we can accomplish what we thought never possible!  Children can teach us so much!  We just have to allow ourselves to be taught.  It doesn’t matter how old someone is if we fail to be taught we have failed to live.  That is a great way to see motherhood.  Motherhood provide us an opportunity to learn and grow each day! We need to try to live a day at a time and try not to carry the trials from the day before.  This really works!  Through the darkest hours of my life I have asked for strength to live that day sometimes to live hour by hour until the night comes and a new day brings new hope.

Life is like a triathlon.  Hero parties are like the people cheering us on!  We need those moments of help to go on.  We need to see life as a gift. We also need to recognize little blessings as we live our daily lives.  By changing our attitude on how we look at things we can make the difference in the outcome.  We need never to forget who we are and to cherish life itself.  That doesn't mean that opposition won't come, it just means we will go through the trial with dignity.  Let us recognize the good in life and always remember those moments in times of trials.

You and your loved ones deserve a hero party every once in a while!  Life is not easy. We need our breaks and the cheering on by friends and loved ones. Give yourself a reminder that you are truly doing the best you can with the situation and that is all you can do.  If we are at a point in which we are able to breath for a while, let us be the one who lifts up another for in this life there is a time for everything!  A time to lift someone up and a time to be lifted.  Hero parties are the best!
