Today I give tribute to motherhood!  Motherhood is such an important role for women!  I especially give tribute to the mother who gave me life!  I admire her devotion, love, patience and willingness to have so many children and to care and give selflessly of herself.  She had no worldly riches, but this I know, she was greatly blessed with riches beyond this world!  She was a mother who blessed her children with a sense of safety, security, and confidence about the future, a mother who taught her children where to find peace and truth.  My mother is a great example to me and I will forever cherish what she has done for me.  It not only influenced me but she has also influenced the lives of many generations!  

We need to keep in mind then that every time we build or reinforce the nobility of a young woman or man, every time we love or lead anyone even one small step along the path, we are being true to our duty as mothers. No woman who understands her duty of love would ever think that any other work is more important, for a mother heals our souls.  If we take the time to look around our family members who need our love and influence, we could make a difference.  If we love our children and they know we do, at a needed moment they will turn to us for help.  

We are in need of more mothers.  The children nowadays are in desperate need of help, love and devotion.  As soon as a mother is not providing love and nurturing a child, that child becomes rebellious and turns away from the little they knew to be good.  We need to be in constant watch and care for those little ones who need a mother.  If we are out there trying to define what is it that would makes us feel fulfilled,

we are going too far, we need to look in our homes. I know that when we come to understand the important role we play as mothers, it will bring peace and purpose to us as women.  

Every woman has a thread to weave in the tapestry of time. Discover your thread and begin to weave!  We all have different talents and we can use them to make our lives of our children more pleasant.  This role we have is not easy, it will take endurance and courage.  Let us remember that we can be a great influence for good to our children who in return will be the same to their children and generations to come will benefit from our decision to become the mothers we should be!  Our influence for good is incalculable and indescribable!  I give tribute then to that mother who gave me love, who cared for me, who cried to God for my welfare, the mother to whom I owe my love, respect and appreciation.  And also to all mothers who try their best to be there for their children.
