TRUST Calls Our Name

We follow where life leads us, through paths straight and sometimes winding, through perils high and sorrows low, through the light of wisdom and the dark of fear. We cling to the path that lays itself out before us, creating a kaleidescope of experiences by which we learn and promise and further ourselves. But without Trust as a binding and hopeful element, we cannot go further than our own sight. Without the lasting and imperative course which Trust sets for us, we cannot lift ourselves to heights unseen and paths ascending.

Trust is a powerful promise, made by us to higher realms where we take a risk, believing there will be outcomes of success, and then lift our sight to somewhere pristine and joyful. We cannot take our steps toward this joyful place without trust set firmly in place. Though it bends and sways to the winds of life's perils, we remain true, solid, and sure. And we carry ourselves safely to that destination where all that inspires us is availabe, accessible, and easily offered. We can trust, believe, feel, and let go of fear or doubt. We can rise higher in confidence knowing that when we fully trust, we place ourselves in that arena of unimaginable possibilities where all creation is streaming backwards and forwards, timeless, in true form, to that infinite place. We belong there. It is our true home.

Our trust, fully employed, will be the driver's seat to bring us carefully there. It calls our name, imploring us to come, sit, and steer steadily forward.

The uncanny messages showing up all week couldn't have been a coincidence. They seemed to pop up everywhere: in my inbox, on the television, in the books I was reading. How could it be that the exact words I needed to hear were given me seemingly randomly, and from so many sources? Of course...
In everything there is a lesson. In everything there is a gift. In all things there is purpose. And in all our lives there is meaning. This means that when we perform the simplist task, or engage in an act of service, or participate in a casual conversation, there is meaning. There is purpose....
