What Causes Wrinkles: Three Secrets that Can Change the Way You Look
by Therese Higgins

Let's face it. If you really want to do something about the signs of aging you're seeing on your face then you have to understand what causes wrinkles. Unless you attack the problem at the source you are going to continue to be disappointed by so-called ""best anti wrinkle creams."" That's why I'd like to share three secrets that can change the way you look.

  1. What causes wrinkles is a result of tired, worn-out skin cells. After years of exposure to the sun and harsh, outdoor elements, your cells begin to lose their ability to produce the natural substances that keep your face moist, smooth, firm and bright. You may have heard of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid (better known as the ""youth molecule""). Well, your body has its own manufacturing system for these amazing, nartual elements that have been know to out-perform the best anti wrinkle creams. When this manufacturing system breaks down you face begins to look old.
  2. What causes wrinkles is also directly related to the over-production of free radicals.Free radicals are unhealthy byproducts of the oxygen used by your cells. Your cells cannot function without oxygen, so Nature provides an efficient way to counteract the production of these damaging molecules: antioxidants. The increase in information and warnings about free radicals is directly related to the increase in poor diet in our country. Over the last 30 years, fast food has overtaken consumption of healthy, antioxidant-rich fruit and vegetables.
  3. What causes wrinkles is also connected to the malnourishment of skin cells.

In addition to the damage caused by sun and free radicals, lines, wrinkles, bags and dull skin are the result of poorly nourished skin cells. Malnourishment contributes to the overall ""run down"" condition of the cells.

Think about it! You know that when you are hungry and needing nourishment, your ability to function is greatly reduced. Your skin cells are no different. They need to be given the proper nutrients to generate the energy needed to perform in the way they were designed - to keep your skin moist, smooth, firm and lustrous.

So now that you know what causes wrinkles, what can you do about it?

It's simple. Three causes have three solutions.

  1. Keep your exposure to the sun and elements in check. A hat and long sleeves is preferable to synthetic, chemical sunscreens.
  2. Eat lots of antioxidant-rich vegetables and fruit. (Look for bright colors.) 3. Boost the nourishment of your skin cells with the best wrinkle creams which contain high concentrations of clinically-tested, bio-active ingredients.

These three solutions work because they are natural and highly compatible with your body's own ability to heal itself. You achieve real results because they come from the inside out. When you consistently put these three solutions into practice, you will see your skin's youthful health and appearance return.

So don't allow what causes wrinkles to change the way you look for the worst. Take what you've learned and change the way you look for the best.
