Abiding in Light Principles

LeeAnn Taylor

We live in an age of shifting morals and unsteady belief systems, ever changing by the perilous tides which swell and drift us closer to our fears. But we are more than our fears and we are greater than our belief systems and we are stronger than our morals. In the highest vision of who we are, we find a firm and unchanging platform for our spirit's progression. It is here where we discover "Light Principles," the sacred tenets of higher realms.

Light Principles represent greater exactment to higher principles, strong ideals found unwavering in the realm of light to which we aspire. These include truth, hope, love, joy, and awareness, and enable us to see beyond the scope of earthly sorrows and fears. When employed, Light Principles lift and elevate us above the lesser concerns of our primitive mortal state, shifting our energy to a higher frequency and connecting us with those pristine elements of divine offering.

But how do we draw these Light Principles to us? By simply longing for their wisdom, by seeking them passionately and diligently. Our adherance to principles already in our possession, such as honesty and integrity, is also requisite before we are given understanding into Light Principles.

In the beginning, we may feel a glimmer of light drawing us in as we inch our way nearer to divine concepts, a gentle tugging as we grow deeper toward enlightenment. Follow these glimmers, yearn after these tuggings, and allow for greater expansion into unknown but higher ideals. They reveal themselves to us according to our readiness for them. But awareness is key and a sacred invite to their gifts. So here is your invitation: Awareness of Light Principles, cordially inviting you to gather and listen, to open your heart and mind, elevating your spirit to a whole new arena of experience. Let the Light begin... Read more ...

The Elements are Shaking us Awake

As most of us are aware New Zealand has been going through powerful changes in recent times. Change can be so painful.

The element of Earth has shrugged her shoulders and shaken the land from deep within. Those precious souls who have passed over have gifted us all with the opportunity to reconnect with the true essence of who we are. We have seen countless acts of kindness and generosity in these past two weeks. We have heard stories that have reminded us that a world of unconditional love is still possible. I ask myself, however, why do we forget so quickly? Why do we need these major upheavals to remind us that we are not living from the true essence of who we are all of the time?

We are indeed being shaken up. We are being woken up to reconnect to the present moment. Whether it is a flood, earth quake, a cyclone or a fire, it is impossible to think about last week's upset with one of our friends, or tomorrow's scheduled meeting with an employer or next month's telephone bill when the elements are speaking to us.

Starting new year right
