We Can Be ONE

LeeAnn Taylor

In our world of highs and lows, of winning and losing, of reaching and striving, we are often caught fighting for the knowledge that everything we possess is found within our own being. The understanding, peace, and truth we seek is here, inside of us, waiting to be freed from doubts, fears, and hang-ups. We choose the course we take in life, but within that course we can choose how to navigate and where to stop and learn from lessons along the way. We can choose light or we can choose darkness. We can choose hope or we can choose despair. It is ours to select what will best reveal us and therefore serve us, in the eternal path we are walking.

Amid our hope is found a real and evident power - it is the power to decide our fate. We are ones who walk a mighty line of wisdom, pure light, and vision. But with this line comes a responsibility to be and choose and allow the highest possible. We must face our light with respect. It is the light of all, revealed as One. We must honor our wisdom and use it to facilitate better outcomes for our fellowman. We are all in one journey, together. We must see with vision true and vast, that we all came as brave adventurers.

We are One, true and peaceful, in an array of experiences meant to challenge us and bring us closer to expansion. What does this mean for our daily lives? It means that we can harbor more patience with each other, that we can relieve suffering among our friends and neighbors. It means that we can give and receive in a bright flow of exchange. It means that when we make mistakes or missteps, we can forgive and let go, and allow others to forgive and let go. It means that you and I may seem different, but we are infinitely alike, and will be forever.

It means that we can be One, in truth, and still illuminate this world with our individual lights, talents, and gifts.

Joyous Living

Away from their family, boy and girl tigers are exploring  new hideouts on their own. She and her brother are unaware and not the least bit concerned with what adventures lie ahead. She investigates every little thing with enthusiastic response. How does this idea relate with you? Do you feel this type of spontaneous response in areas of your life?

These beautiful tigers are not being anything other than tiger, completely focused on her/his path, and it seems that no obstacle can steer them away from their adventure. Is this how you feel about your life or do some things hold you back?

It is time for me to focus on being grateful this last year for everything. There is great wisdom in Glorying in tribulation. They tend to shape you. As I look at my journey over my past seven years of recovery, it has refined me in his love. This New Year's Eve I am grateful to be alive in his world of unfolding Grace. The definition of Grace is Unmerited Love of Man by GOD. This means YOU are unconditionally loved!

Often your life is filled with clutter... emotionally, physically and spritually. You are attached to things, due to your generational patterns or having mixed-up thoughts and always thinking you know. These are obstacles to listening, feeling and experiencing what is in front of you and what is available as joy. It is not the conditions in the world that weigh you down, as much as how you are meant to clean up your own life and have space for other than the repeated patterns of living. Read more ...

In Service to All

LeeAnn Taylor

BEING IN SERVICE TO OTHERS is the hallmark of life. It represents the purpose each of us holds through this mortal experience. And it enables us to move quickly forward on our journey of spiritual evolution. What is the distinct element achieved when one is in service to another? Is it personal gain, financial success, or health improvements? Maybe. But it is above all the exact elevation in our own spiritual attainment as well as the spiritual attainments of those whom we are serving. It is ELEVATION. We are here to receive and to give - to ourselves, to our friends and family, and to those who cross our paths. We're here to make of this excursion a swift and steady lesson in humanity's propulsion toward eternal heights. And we're here to do it together. Isn't it amazing how all our lives we depend on others? Really, if we think about it, we depend on so many people for everything we have. We rely on the grocer for our food - he relies on the producer and packager for his products - and he relies on the farmers and ranchers. We rely on the doctor, the educator, the transportation engineer, the commentator, the politician, the researcher, the author, the artist, the musician, the restauranteur, the gardener, the business owner, the postal worker... and the list goes on. For all of these tasks which must be done, we rely on one another. And in a beautiful kaleidescope of activity and service, our lives are enriched and blessed beyond a single individual's efforts. For this purpose are we - the giver, the receiver - in an ever changing and evolving exchange of service, to lend whatever skills and talents we possess to contribute to humanity's benefit, and to receive whatever gifts of another's skills and talents for our benefit. We must rely on each other. We must cherish each other. We must honor and give thanks for each other. And we must SERVE. It is our highest position, ever.

Ask Auntie Artichoke "Finding the Heart of the Story in the Journey of Life"

with Judy Helm Wright aka Auntie Artichoke

Judy Helm Wright aka Auntie Artichoke

Welcome to "Ask Auntie Artichoke" online audio and video shows. The honorary title of “Auntie” is given in many cultures to the wise women who guide and mentor others in life. “Aunties and Uncles” are sources of encouragement, support and unconditional love.

Why The Artichoke?

The symbol of the artichoke has great meaning in my teaching and writing.  As I work with families, I frequently find only the outer edges are exposed and can be prickly, hard to open and sometimes bitter. They are closed to new ideas or methods. Many families prefer the known over the unknown, even when the old patterns and skills are not serving them well.

But, as you expose the artichoke and people to warmth, caring, and time, gradually the leaves begin to open and expose the real treasure—the heart.

My training is as a parent educator, family coach, and personal historian.  I have written more than 20 books, hundreds of articles and am blessed to have had opportunities to speak internationally on family issues, including care giving. I am a life-long learner and connector.  My favorite volunteer activity is writing end-of-life stories for Hospice.

I have confidence in your ability to succeed.  Grab a cup of tea, put your feet up, and join me as I accompany and support you in your life's journey.

The Globalisation of love - a book about multicultural marriage

Canadian, Wendy Williams, has been married to an Austrian for 13 years and lives in Vienna. Her new book is published on her wedding anniversary, 13th November. In this interview we discover how she created a new term to apply to those in a multicultural marriage - GloLo - and how Williams cleverly chose to include the wisdom of intercultural and relationship experts in order to ensure her book was well-researched and had the authority it needed. This is a book, rather like Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus, in that it is written to be used and enjoyed by real people and not by academics. It is also very, very funny.
