The last night of the story was always Christmas Eve. It was exciting and sad all at the same time. We couldn’t wait to hear about going to Santa’s house, we knew what was coming…but at the same time, we knew this was the last night of the story. We would talk about the story over and over until we went back to school after New Year’s. Then an entire year had to pass before we got to hear the story again!

Such is the power of storytelling, tradition and love to bind families together.

May your family share all this and find even more ways to create traditions together.
