Family time is important time.

I believe it is probably more important than any other time that can spent.

In the best of all worlds, family time is time when you come together with those you love that also love you - unconditionally.

It takes work to achieve "the best of all worlds - family time".

The creation of family rituals and traditions helps to establish "the best of all worlds" state of mind.

Consider how you can celebrate individuals in the family and the family as a whole. Here are a few examples.

  • Anniversaries
  • Biological Markers
  • Births
  • Birthdays
  • Deaths
  • First Accomplishments
  • Graduations
  • Special Accomplishments
  • Weddings

What are your family time rituals?

Are immediate family members required to attend?

Are the rituals private ocassions or do you allow extended family and friends to attend?

Do you photograph or videotape family rituals?

Do you create albumns or momentos to share to members of the family?

What would you like to celebrate that you do not currently celebrate?

If you don't current celebrate family rituals - please know - it is not too late.  You can start now.  If you are on this side of the grave - there is still time.  Take the time to show your love.  Take the time to celebrate your family.  Let them know that you care.
