When Rod and my four daughters were growing up, we served tuna fish sandwiches several times a week. Fast forward a number of years, when Heidi was dual diagnosed, Down syndrome/autistic, our autism specialist, Dr. Bryan Jepson, initially asked us if we ate much fish because it contains mercury and other pollutants and harms brain cells.  However, he said that Heidi needs Omega-3 fish oils.  What a challenge, less fish - more Omega-3s! Thankfully, we found a company called Nordic Naturals, which is sold at most health stores, to be superior in purity and has kid friendly choices.

Today, we are hooked on healthy omegas, and you can, too!
