Identifying Habitual Negative Self Talk

The idea of this show, and my therapy practice is to remind you that no matter what you are going through in this moment, you will come through it, infinitely more balanced, happy, and self confident than ever before… by learning how to make your mind work for you… instead of against you.

You are the only one creating your life…..and you can stop creating any event whenever you want to.

The words you speak in and think in are indicators of the underlying beliefs you hold in consciousness about yourself. The body mind spirit believes everything you say to it and about it. To alter your words and make them more deliberately chosen, instead of unconscious repetitions of implanted habitual speech patterns, can change your life within itself.

As we’ve been discussing, implementing Conscious Languaging into your life as one of the most empowering changes in behavior you can make.

When you grow up with constant criticism you become critical and judgmental not only about yourself but about everyone and everything else too.

Your lack of worthiness and feeling you can’t do anything right is an early imprint that stays with you and creates an unstable basis upon which you build the rest of life unless you delete the program.

It leaves you shame based always feeling you are the criticism leveled at you.  Below are those derogatory statements delivered to you early in life which you unconsciously and erroneously have taken on as your persona.


Today’s Take Away… The most important thing to get in this entire series on conscious languaging is that we are not the judgments or the labels our families put on us. That is just our personal mythology which is more about the family intergenerational mythology that our unique identity.
  
This Week’s Homework…Begin noticing every time you think or repeat any label or attribute your family used to describe you.  Write it down in your Journal under the title Personal Mythology.  As you start deleting these labels, these family beliefs about you, you will become clearer about who you really are.
