Join me as I interview Bambi Harris, author of the Afterlife Series. When Bambi Harris wrote short stories in the back of her school planner in rural South Australia, she never imagined she would one day be published on the other side of the world.
She has written all of her Metaphysical Science Fiction based novels in Plainfield, Illinois. Her research has combined her strong passion for history and the paranormal and used them to create fun novels that entice the imagination while connecting the reader to the past.
The first in a series, “Death and Other Inconveniences,” (iUniverse/ February 2010) details the new ‘life’ of the brutally murdered thirty year old, Penny Lane, and her funny yet poignant journey in her role as someone who decides the fates of murderers. This is the first novel in her Afterlife Series, which takes the reader into a world with calorie free eating and short workdays yet many unexpected turns.
She has just released the fourth book in the series and already working on the fifth as we speak!
Her books are available for purchase from online retailers iUniverse, Amazon and Barnes and Noble, but Bambi encourages people to pass them around. “This is not about financial gain,” she is quoted as saying. “I just want to make people laugh and maybe find a way to perceive the afterlife as literally being a ‘next step’ and nothing to be feared.”
