Two expats, one a mother of bilingual expat teens, one a psychologist, met in Singapore and realised that expat teens have a tough time finding the support and advice they need in transient times. The idea for this book was born and soon the pair had crafted a website and a survey in order to begin to gather their material, from the teens themselves, from expat parents and expat psychologists and teachers. Covering everything from drugs and sex to divorce and loss of identity, this book will help everyone who lives with, works with or IS an expat teen. Interestingly, the authors found themselves on different continents before the book was completed and conducted the process between the US and Singapore. Find out where they got their inspiration in this three way interview, across the miles.
