Friends, sad statistics indicate that the marriage of over 80% of couples' with a disabled child, breakdown and end in divorce. Frankly, that child is thrust even deeper into unknown depths of disadvantages. As a couple, with a daughter who was dual diagnosed with Down syndrome and late onset autism, we have had our share of trials. There were many BREAK DOWNS along the way, but we decided to BACK UP and BREAK THROUGH the challenges. Today, over 30 years later, we have built a great marriage, day by day, and you can, too!

Our advice is to use our acronym with the word b-r-e-a-k-t-h-r-o-u-g-h as a tool that will prevent Break Downs and create Break Throughs in your marriage.

Remember this affirmation: "The best GIFT we can give to our children is the PRESENCE of our strong marriage."  God Bless.
