www.teachingtolerance.org is "A place to find thought-provoking news, conversation and support for those who care about diversity, equal opportunity and respect for differences in schools"  It offers free resources for people working with children in many educational capacities. The story I tell here - The Prince and the Rhinoceros - comes from the book Rhinos and Raspberries: Tolerance Tales for the Early Grades. Not only does it contain amazing stories but lesson plans and follow up activities to use with each story.

Stories reach our hearts and have such power to transform us,teach us,change us,delight us. The stories in this collection, help us learn to empathize with others as well as counteract prejudice formation and inpsire children to stand up against unfairness.

I say YES to all the above!!!

Love to you all,

Anne-Louise Sterry
