What does it take to truly forgive oneself? To completely let go of past mistakes, for not being true to yourself, and for not yet accomplishing all you have desired or all you're 'suppored' to do but haven’t done?

It takes stillness. It takes listening. And it takes being able to let go of the chatter and go within.

That is what Christine Silvey, empowerment and breakthrough expert discovered as she entered one of the sacred temples the Hawaiian guide took the group to. It was an experience that would touch her to the core, and contributed to a complete change of direction in her work.

As she learnt to open to the lessons of nature's classroom in Maui's feminine richness she felt herself connecting deeply with the earth and listnening to stories of the land and the plants. She cherished the nurturning and symbolism of Hawaiann culture. She felt a deep sens of interconneciton between all things. And as she entered one of the sacred temples that most public don't know about, she felt an inner voice inviting her to let go and stop trying to control. And she felt immediate sense of peace. The chatter melted away, and gave way to a profound connection to the land.

As she walked into space she was immediately drawn to cluster of stones. She kneeled down, place hands on top of it, stayed there for a while. She looked out over the horizon and took in expamnsive view of ocean and felt the energy of  not being alone. She remained deeply rooted to that spot didn’t move for a long time,

'I felt  the most grounded I’ve ever felt in my life." said Christine. She was then called to walk into center of sacred space. "Suddenly deep emotions were welling up inside me. I couldn’t understand why I was so deeply moved. As I moved towards center area felt I needed to lay down and the word forgiveness kept coming up for me. Then there was a flood of forgiveness for myself for not being true to myself and for not accomplishing all desired or what I’m suppored to do but haven’t done. It was a profound moment of forgiveness. I could never have planned that.'

Later when she asked the Hawaiian guide about the rocks she was told it was a blessing area that was filled with the energy of every person that had come to that area. Then 3 stones nearby was a vortex area for this space.

"I had been so open. My whole intention for passage was to help me get clear. What did I want? What am I here to do? Who am I here to serve? I had to clear out what was in the way first. Reconnecting with own inner wisdom and making way for what’s next."

It was the beginning of a journey that summer that’s transformed the direcion of her business. Previously her work was exclusively corporate, but she'd been missing the connection between head and heart. Now the direction has moved to more transformation work with people and shifting the deeply invisible barriers such as shame that keep us from having the life we really want.

It felt like an eternity, in the best way. But it really was just a few moments. That’s all I needed. I was sitting on a big rock in the middle of the stream in the mystical Iao valley, sunning myself like a lizard. My skin was still tingling. Not one minute before I was fully...
