Film maker and Author Debby Takikawa and I discuss her documentary and upcoming book, "What Babies Want". Her work is based on infant's experiences, their wants and needs. In an exploration of infant consciousness, Debby addresses how to understand and respond to babies' needs and she gives specific techniques as addressed more in depth in her new book. Recently Debby developed the BABY International Film Festival. The purpose of these festivals is to give greater public exposure to the best films made about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and early childhood.
