What is a Peaceful Woman?

I'll answer that with 3 more questions: How much have you explored your deepest truths? How connected to you feel in your community? How much fun are you having in life?

After recently co-facilitating two Peaceful Woman retreats in Maui I'm delighted to share stories and realizations as I explore what being a peaceful woman really is and how it relates to those three questions - three pillars - around fulfilment. It certainly doesn't mean being devoid of emotions! It's much more about flowing with what is, not judging the emotions I'm experiencing and seeing them as waves that will pass. Like my lovely Lake here at Tahoe - there may be waves on the surface, but the depths are still calm.

In this show I share two transformative experiences I had on one of the retreats and invite you to journey with me through nature's wonderful classroom in one of the world's most beautiful places.

The WIN is coordinating a Maui Peaceful Woman retreat early 2011 - see details here: http://thewinonline.com/win-maui - and you are all invited!!!

“It’s a volcano.” said one of the women, proudly displaying the sand mudpie she’d created. ‘Mine’s a castle,’ said another, placing a feather on the highest tower of her sand village. We surveyed the diversity of our artwork. There were moats,...
Why Sensory Awakening is so important I just listened to a fabulous interview with one of my favorite 'Sheroes' - Jean Houston, (here's the interview) answering the question 'what do we now need to do as women during these times of massive change and opportunity?'. She said that as women we have a...
