Once is never enough when it comes to Jan Latta
Jan Latta, like the big cats she photographs, has lived 9 lives. Her resilience is inspirational. She has nerves of steel and a wonderful sense of humour. No wonder I was excited to interview her again. This is a fantastic interview with Jan. So brew yourself a cup of tea, sit back and enjoy meeting wildlife photographer Jan Latta again.
Jan Latta carries with her an air of light heartedness and ease. The day she came face to face with a mountain gorilla in Rwanda was the day her life would never be the same again. After hearing that there were only 600 of these beautiful mountain gorillas in the world Jan heard an inner call that it was time to change professions and begin to create children’s book so that they could learn about endangered animals.
