In 1911 “International Women’s Day” was created. The WIN and women
worldwide will celebrate, commit, and connect on March 8, 2011.
On March 8, 2011, The WIN will celebrate International Women’s Day in a huge way. Worldwide, 1,000,000 women will meet (online and offline in 10 cities in the United States) in the largest gathering in history of women connected by simultaneous live-streaming capabilities to ten venues and to thousands of websites.
On huge screens women will see one another in New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Houston, Boston, Denver., San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Celebrities, women political leaders, and experts will speak, there will be musical entertainment, and a powerful dramatic presentation. On this day women will “Celebrate, Commit, and Connect.”
They’ll commit to improve in three areas of their lives:
1. Personal ~ improve their personal health and well being, and their businesses as employees, business owners, entrepreneurs.
2. Family ~ help their families be healthier and prepare for the future right now.
3. Country ~ let their voices be heard: to speak up, to make positive changes in their communities/countries.
Each year we’ll add 10 international cities to the event!
At this marvelous event for 1,000,000 women (offline and online), sponsors will receive HUGE exposure and will be positioned as supporters of women in business and supporters of women as powerful buyers. If you're interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Paula Fellingham: paula@thewinonline.com.

About WIN-DY
Hi, I am WIN-DY and I am 23 years old.
I was born on a sunny afternoon at 3:33pm at Windale Memorial Hospital, in Windale, California - a suburb of Los Angeles - on March 8th, 1987. My mother, Kristine, and my father, Warren, are both teachers. My mother teaches English at Windale High School, and my father teaches Math/Computer Science at Windale Community College. I love them very much. My family is very important to me.
I just graduated from Occidental College, in Los Angeles. I majored in Communications/Broadcast Journalism and and I have to say, I am VERY inquisitive.
I just got my first job as a talk show host on a radio show called "The FLAT WIN-DY" - on KWIN Radio; 7900 on the dial and I couldn't be happier!
With this great opportunity I am now constantly looking for interesting material to fill my 30 minute daily show - putting information into "stories" I can share with my listeners.
Download a version of me below. Print it off, cut it out and take me around on your adventures! Make sure to take pictures of us in exciting places and post those pictures on FaceBook.
Be sure to connect with me on Twitter, FaceBook and my Blog - I look forward to getting to know you!
Sincerely,
WIN-DY
