Tthis morning as I was writing in my show blog, this picture came into my mind. Here at the WIN, women from around the world are part of this community where wisdom and experiences are shared. Doesn't  matter whether you are a show host or a participant - there is a way for each of us to share these things.

In the old days, we would have been the women around the kitchen table... from the village,,, or around the fire....or gathered in the stable....or gathering in other ways that I do not even know! But the gathering and sharing, that is the thing.

I am thinking about all of us as the Kitchen Table of the World, gathered right here at the WIN, in this new way, online.

What are your 'gathering' traditions? How did/do the women in your family get together? What do you think about this new kind of 'gathering and sharing'?  Do you still get together? 

Hmmm I think a new song about this would be good. I shall try to write one...anyone else?  And an story....
