My father always used to laugh at the cows in the pasture that would stretch their necks out at least an extra foot and stretch their tongues beyond belief just to snatch the grass as far away as possible on the other side of the fence. Just watching this once helped me to understand the meaning of the phrase..."the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." It would never matter if the grass was as green and as long on this side of the fence, the cows always went for the grass on the other side.
We, humans, are often like that, arne't we? We think that what we don't have is better than what we have. It is important to give thanks for noticing what we are doing and then to take a few minutes to "count our blessings." Often what we have is pretty good. The Law of Abundance teaches us to look for the abundance...to acknowledge it ...and to welcome it into our lives.
