Halloween Costumes For Every Energy Type

On Halloween, you get to dress up as someone else. But you can still express the true you! Here are some things to think about for each of the 4 Types in my Energy Profiling System.

• Light, Upward Type 1: Bring a smile to the party by dressing up cute! Think of your favorite animated character. Or consider something fun like a cheerleader, cupcake, or ladybug. Try something new you've never dressed up as before.

• Fluid, Flowing Type 2: Think soft. A cuddly animal or a princess, like Rapunzel—with the most flowing hair ever! Don't want to go all out? Be a master of subtlety with vampire teeth caps or spooky contact lenses. Make sure to wear something cozy and comfortable.

• Active, Reactive Type 3: You can't go too big on Halloween. So go for it! Consider a costume that calls for exotic gold jewelry, like a gypsy, an Egyptian princess or a pharaoh. Or try an animal costume like a lion, tiger or peacock. Why not use the animal prints in your closet?

• Constant, Still Type 4: Black is a Halloween color–and it looks GREAT on you. You'd look stunning in a classic costume, like a vampire with a black and red cape, a black cat, or a queen. But don't stop with black. Any costume with bold colors and lines will give you an amazing look.

Remember, there's not just one way to dress up according to your Energy Type. Put your own energetic spin on Halloween. Any of these costume ideas could be adapted for your Energy Type: witch, super hero, cowboy, pirate, movie character, public figure, rock star, monster, and more! Just be true to yourself and have fun.
