While in a church building recently, I was in a room with a grand empire crystal chandelier. It was cone shaped at the bottom with a crystal pillar extending heavenward from the base. The more I stared at it , the more colors appeared. Every color of the rainbow shined like stars within the chandelier. I realized that there was one white light source at the top which shone down and refracted through thousands of individual prisms that comprised this chandelier.
As I pondered upon this spectacle, I realized it is a metaphor for how we come together to light the world. This episode expounds further on the metaphor and how we can make a difference for good on this planet.

Grandpa's Legacy

Marnie...I just loved your reflection(s) about your grandfather and it gave me pause to think about what a wonderful man he was! You have accomplished so much in your life and he paved the way for you! I only knew one grandparent - my grandmother who, unfortunately, died when I was in high school. My dad's dad served in the Navy and I understand he was quite accomplished. Lucky you and lucky us for just hearing your story. May those who are fortunate to still have grandparents stop and consider it's not too late to hear their stories - and maybe even record a few. Hugs. B
