i think The Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Routledge. Its Editor-in-Chief is R. Taylor Segraves. The journal's title is sometimes confused with the similar publication "Sexual and Marital Therapy," icnd which is the original title to what is now the journal Sexual and Relationship Therapy.
Episode #011 Tiger Woods, Marriage and Infidelity
Just a note that at the time of recording this show my focus was not on sex addiction. Tiger's situation prompted me to address the topic of infidelity in general. A separate episode would be needed to address the complex issue of sexual addiction in marriage. Addictions change everything.

disaster
I've been married 26 years. At this time my husband and I have NO sexual relations, and what is intimacy? Two problems I need help with: 1. My husband is not an emotional man in way. There is NO emotional connection and I feel very alone in my marriage. 2. Because of frequent uretheral catherizations as a child, I suffer from constant uretheral pain (it's like walking around with a urinary tract infection most of the time.) Intimacy makes things worse, and after an encounter, I am in severe and constant pain for the next week or more. I feel like I'm an experience in the pavlovian theory -- Sex to me is pain -- it's also lonely. Do I dare ask these questions? Do I dare talk about this? Help!
