Bio

Dr. Jean LaCour is a sought after trainer, author, and international consultant in the field of addiction. She co-founded the NET Training Institute's Center for Addiction and Recovery Education which is an industry leader in creating online instruction in addiction, counseling, recovery support and coaching. She has extensive experience in establishing collaborative partnerships and provides leadership to an international coalition of addiction workers and agencies in 68 nations. Dr. LaCour has trained in over a dozen nations including Egypt, Russia, Pakistan, and India and took part in the United Nations NGO drug policy workgroup in Vienna, Austria in 2008. As a tireless advocate for people in recovery and for people who serve in the addiction field around the world, she launched the "Recovery Heroes Initiative" in 2009.
