Here's a woman who can take you from Woe to Wow! Meet Wowza. She's a Body Language Expert, Expressive Arts Therapist, Embodiment Speakeryour Sensuous Sage, Galatic Shaman, Champion of Life Force, and a Sacred Actor - and that's still not all of it.
Emerging out of a traumatic childhood of physical/emotional abuse, a disfiguring skin disease, cross-eyes, and crippling inhibition, Wowza discovered Wild Woman - a wellspring of primal energy within her heart that transformed her health, vitality and very life. As a facilitator of expressive arts therapy, movement education, sound healing, innovative bodywork, and spiritual counseling for four decades, her passion is guiding women through inhibitory barriers into expressing the beauty and power of their essential nature.
At the age of 75, Wowza embodies the spirit of ageless vitality. Her life and work demonstrates that unstoppable energy and radiance of spirit is alive and well in us all. Wowza’s multi-disciplinary background includes international consultant on natural fitness, embodiment speaker, and presentation coach. For the last ten years she has taught an on-going Expressive Arts Therapy Training in Mainland China. As a teacher of Rolfing Movement Integration, The Physiology of Leadership and Computer Fitness: Take the Aches and Pains out of Work have been offered at Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corporation. Quantum Physiology of Consciousness was offered at the Sequoia Symposium for physicists who were presenting their work on the quantum field. As a professional actress. she has appeared in numerous television shows, stage productions and films, and has served as a professional trainer for Arica Institute, a spiritual development corporation for five years. A group leader at Esalen Institute since 1979, Wowza is the author of the Humming Book, Primal Energetics-Emotional Intelligence in Action, and Wowzacise-Growing Young on the Ball.
